Delete Your Data

Last Updated: August 6, 2026

In Short

You control your data in CrowdLab. You can delete your entire account yourself in under a minute, disconnect a Meta advertising account without deleting anything else, revoke our access from Facebook, or email us and we will do it for you. All four options are below.

Option 1
Delete your entire account
Immediate, self-serve, and permanent.

Steps

  1. Sign in to CrowdLab.
  2. Go to Settings Account.
  3. Scroll to Delete Account and select it.
  4. Confirm in the dialog. Deletion runs immediately.

What is deleted, immediately

  • Your login, email address, name, and profile
  • Every audience, post, ad, and email you created
  • Every test and A/B test, including all persona responses and results
  • Any images or video you uploaded
  • Your Meta connection, its access token, and all imported advertising performance data
  • Your custom metrics and saved settings

What else happens

  • Any active subscription is cancelled immediately. You will not be billed again. We do not refund the remainder of the current period, so cancel first and delete at period end if that matters to you.
  • Encrypted infrastructure backups are cycled out within 30 days.
  • We may keep aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot be linked back to you, and payment and invoice records that tax and accounting law requires us and our payment processor to retain.

This cannot be undone. There is no recovery window and no support path to restore a deleted account. Export anything you want to keep before you confirm.

Option 2
Disconnect a Meta advertising account
Keeps your CrowdLab account. Cuts off our access to Meta.

Steps

  1. Sign in to CrowdLab.
  2. Go to Settings Integrations.
  3. Select Disconnect.

What that does

  • Your access token is deleted immediately. We can no longer read anything from your Meta account.
  • Performance figures we already imported are kept, deliberately: they are the record of how your real ads actually did, which is what our accuracy reporting is measured against, and you cannot regenerate them once the connection is gone.
  • To delete those too, use Option 1, or email us using Option 4 and ask for your imported advertising data to be removed. We will do it without deleting the rest of your account.
Option 3
Revoke access from Facebook
Do this from Meta's side, without signing in to CrowdLab.
  1. Open your Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
  2. Find CrowdLab in the list.
  3. Select View and edit, then Remove.

This revokes our access at Meta straight away. It does not, on its own, delete the data we already hold — use Option 1 or Option 4 for that.

Option 4
Ask us to delete it
Use this if you cannot sign in, or want only part of your data removed.

Write from the email address on the account and tell us what you want deleted — everything, or just the imported Meta advertising data. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we act on it. We complete verified requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
